Recalled – Film Score

Recalled is a movie we scored in house. It’s expected to be released in a World Premiere at the SIFF Cinema at the Uptown on June 8 and 9, 2012! The film is also included in the New American Cinema, Catalyst, and New American Cinema Competition programs.

Based on his short film of the same title, writer/director Michael Connors’ “Recalled” explores the difficult choices made by soon-to-deploy soldiers as they react to an ethical dilemma faced by one of their own. After being granted a questionable transfer that will keep him stateside as his National Guard unit deploys for Iraq, Lieutenant Danny Sefton becomes embroiled in a last minute AWOL attempt by one of his soldiers — forcing him to choose between his loyalties to the fleeing soldier, his unit and his fiancé.

QUANTUM gears up for an EPIC SUMMER…

This is our edgiest and most modern Live Orchestra and Choir release yet! QUANTUM is a combination of Epic Action and Drama making a grand debut as our most unique hybrid orchestral album for film trailers and advertising. The music on QUANTUM is loaded with layers of ground breaking sound design accompanied by dark, edgy guitar melodies combined with our signature sound of lush cyclical strings, huge swelling brass, and massive booming drums.

Each of the compositions on Quantum was chosen because of its exceptional and diverse combination of sound design and melodic and rhythmic structure. This lead us to handcraft various remixed versions of each song to feature some of the more emotional or dark characteristics. The alternative mixes are unique to each cue and many will emphasize the strings, feature the guitar or piano lines, and often bring the sound design forward making it a featured component.
